SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)

 

To use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) on WebSphere MQ for iSeries™, V6.0 we need:

• OS/400 option 34: Digital Certificate Manager (DCM)

• Cryptographic Access Provider AC3 (128-bit).

• The IBM HTTP server.

If you want to install the 4758 PCI Cryptographic Coprocessor for iSeries to speed up the SSL handshake processing, also install OS/400 option 35: Cryptographic Service Provider.
