MQ and OS versions

The minimum supported software level is OS/400 Version 5 Release 2. Later levels, if any, will be supported.

The following table shows the relationship between versions of MQ and versions of OS/400.

WebSphere MQ for iSeries™ V6.0 is NOT supported running in a System/36™ environment.

PTFs

Install the latest cumulative PTFs for iSeries before installing MQ.

The following table shows the latest cumulative PTFs as of February 2005.
