Connectivity

 

WebSphere MQ requires one of the following for SNA connectivity:

• Attachmate EXTRA! Personal Client, V6.7

• Attachmate myEXTRA! Enterprise 2000

• Attachmate Extra! Presentation Services, V7.11

• IBM Communications Server for Windows, V6.1.2

• IBM Personal Communications V5.7

• Microsoft SNA Server, Version 4.0

• Microsoft Host Integrated Server 2004

• Microsoft Host Integrated Server 2000

• TCP/IP, NetBIOS, and SPX. These are part of the base operating system.

  IPv6 support is only provided on Windows XP with service pack 1 or later, and on Windows Server 2003 or later.
