Displaying messages in your national language

 

Messages in U.S. English are automatically installed with WebSphere MQ. If you require messages in a different language, perform the following steps:

1. Install the appropriate message catalog (see WebSphere MQ Components).

2. To select messages in a different language, use the following command with the identifier for the language you want to install:

   export LANG=message identifier

   The message identifiers for the message catalogs are as follows:

   • de_DE (German)

   • es_ES (Spanish)

   • fr_FR (French)

   • it_IT (Italian)

   • ja_JP (Japanese)

   • ko_KR (Korean)

   • pt_BR (Brazilian Portuguese)

   • zh_CN (Simplified Chinese)

   • zh_TW (Traditional Chinese)
