Migrating from an earlier version
If you migrate from a previous level of WebSphere MQ for Linux, we cannot revert to your previous level, so back up your system before you install WebSphere MQ V6.0. This will enable you to back off the upgrade if necessary. If you back off the upgrade, however, you cannot recover any work performed by WebSphere MQ V6.0.
Additionally, if you migrate from a previous version of WebSphere MQ for Linux, uninstall your current version before installing WebSphere MQ V6.0.
