Manage Application Servers

Overview

To manipulate appservers you can use the Application Servers page on the console, or you can use command-line tools such as wasadmin.sh, startServer.sh, and stopServer.sh.

If you use the console, Base WAS appservers must be managed using the Network Deployment manager console.

The Application Servers page is at:

console > Servers > Application Servers

A list of appservers in the cell is displayed, along with their node and their status, started, stopped, or unavailable.

From this page, you can start, stop, and monitor your appservers.

To change settings for an appserver, click on the appserver name.

To view info about version and build level, build date, and fixes applied, click on the Runtime tab, and then click Product Information.

To create an appserver, click New and follow the instructions on the Create New Application Server page.
