Rule implementation

For a rule to actually perform the instructions that comprise it, it must be "mapped" (assigned) to a content spot. To put the rule into effect in the run-time environment, the rule and mapping (and campaign, if applicable) must be published to a publish server.

The following sections explain the concepts of content spots, mappings, the normal view, and campaigns, and provide instructions for creating and using these features to implement your rules.
