Overview

The Reminder portlet lets users save and display short text messages on their portal page.

This portlet allows users to view reminders separately or as a list. Users have the ability to add, edit and delete reminders as well as to assign a status (for example, "urgent") to them.

The portlet can be rendered by the user in the view and help modes.

There is a limitation of 240 text characters for each reminder.

There are no known test or usage assumptions.

This portlet supports browsers capable of rendering HTML markup. The following table provides detailed information.

Deployment/Installation

For general information on installing portlets, go to the section --Administering-- in the Websphere Portal Information Center. In the section, browse to Administering your portal-->Portal administration portlets-->Install portlets

Note: This portlet is not supported as a remote WSRP service.
