Checklist for system setup for staging systems
The following checklist should be used to guide you in setting up the staging systems

User IDs and passwords for Portal (e.g. database user)
User ID and passwords used by portal to access external systems can be different on all systems. User IDs for portal administrators should be identical on all systems, passwords can be different. Additional manual steps are required if administrator user IDs are different. User group names should be the same on all systems, or additional steps for staging are required.
Checklist for global settings and configurations in property files
The following list contains all configurations and settings that need to be manually synchronized between the systems involved in the staging to production process. These settings are neither covered by the XML configuration interface nor staged by other tools.
