Username Component

The Username Component is used to display a user's name in a Presentation Template or Component Design.

There are two component designs. One is rendered if there is no user logged in and the other is rendered when a user is logged in. Both component designs are Rich Text Components. A Web Content Management Placeholder with a tag value of "name" is used in the User Component Design to display the name. E.g.:

    <placeholder tag="name" start="Welcome" end="to this Site" />

The "Display Anonymous" checkbox determines whether the Anonymous Portal User display name string will be rendered in either the Anonymous or User Component Designs. If "Display Anonymous" is not selected, and there is no user logged in, any name placeholder tags will be excluded when the Username Component is rendered.
