Portlet Settings Section
The following Settings must be entered to enable the Remote Rendering Portlet.
Web Content Management Server Host Enter the details of the Web Content Management Host: http://[HOST]:[PORT]Web Content Management Context Path Enter the Context path of the Web Content Management application. This is the path specified in the "wcm.context.path" parameter of /wps/wcm/config/aptrixjpe.propertiesWeb Content Management Servlet Path Enter the path of the Web Content Management servlet. This is the path specified in the "DefaultServletPath" parameter in... /connect/wcm/config/connect.cfgWeb Content Management Authenticated Servlet Path Enter the secured path of the Web Content Management servlet. This is the path specified in the "SecureServletPath" parameter in /myconnect/wcm/config/connect.cfgFully qualify URLs generated by Web Content Management Server Select this option to ensure that URLs generated by Web Content Management are fully qualified. This is enabled by default.When Web Content Management content is fully qualified, a generated URL will look like this: http://host:port/wps/wcm/connect/site/sitearea/contentAn unqualified URL will look like this:
/wps/wcm/connect/site/sitearea/contentIf you unselect this option ensure that you "redirect" the HTTP server to the Web Content Management Server. enter the following information in the "redirect" parameter of your HTTP server's configuration.http://host:portThe HTTP server can then be configured to enable Web Content Management Resources to be load-balanced, and to apply additional security to Web Content Management Resources. refer to your HTTP server documentation for details.Portlet Display Title The setting can be used to change the Display Title of the portlet. This is optional. If left blank, the title entered in the portlet's configuration mode is used.
Remember: Editing PortletsThere are three buttons you can click after editing a Portlet: Note: Folder and file locations under i5/OS
- Clicking OK saves changes and returns to view mode.
- Clicking Cancel clears all changes and returns to view mode.
- Clicking Apply saves all changes, but the configure mode remains open.
In i5/OS installations, Web Content Management files are located in the "wp user root" directory, not "/PortalServer/wcm/". E.g. -
- WAS 5.1.1.3 - /QIBM/UserData/WEBAS51/Base/instance name/PortalServer51
- WAS 6 - /QIBM/UserData/WebSphere/AppServer/V6/Base/profiles/instance name/PortalServer51
