Deploy the Dreamweaver Enhancements
Install the Dreamweaver Enhancements
- Locate LotusDWX.mxp under the /PortalServer/wcm/dreamweaver folder.
- Run LotusDWX.mxp The Macromedia Extension Manager will open.
- Click Accept to accept the Disclaimer. The Web Content Management Extensions will then be installed.
In i5/OS installations, Web Content Management files are located in the "wp user root" directory, not "/PortalServer/wcm/". E.g. -
- WAS 5.1.1.3 - /QIBM/UserData/WEBAS51/Base/instance name/PortalServer51
- WAS 6 - /QIBM/UserData/WebSphere/AppServer/V6/Base/profiles/instance name/PortalServer51
Configure the Dreamweaver Enhancements
- From the Dreamweaver Menu Bar click on File then Lotus Configuration
- A dialogue box will appear. Enter the following information:
Host: This is usually the name of the Web Content Management server. Port Number: Port number of server. Path: This is the path to the Web Content Management servlet: /wps/wcm/connect UserID: Web Content Management User Name. Password: Web Content Management password. (This must be entered every time you reopen Dreamweaver.) Remember: You must enter your password every time you open Dreamweaver to initialize the Web Content Management enhancements. Use manual entry mode: If the number of items on a Web Content Management server is greater than the number entered here, then the Web Content Management Enhancements will switch to manual mode. This means that the item selection lists in the Web Content Management dialogs will not be available. This option can be used with Web Content Management Sites containing extremely large numbers of Web Content Management Items where, after clicking this button in Web Content Management Dialogs, the time needed to populate the selection lists may be excessive.
