Overview

The following preview options are available to users when they click the "Preview" button in the Web Content Authoring.

Allow Authors to preview content in a Web Page If selected, users are able to preview WCM pages via the WCM servlet. This allows Users to preview Web Pages in a Web Browser.
Allow Authors to preview content in the local Portal Pages selected below Users are able to preview WCM content in the Portal Pages selected here. The Portal Pages displayed here are the Portal Pages available on the same instance of WebSphere Portal as your WCM application is installed on. The selected Portal Pages must contain a Local Rendering Portlet.
Allow Authors to preview content using the following URLs Users are able to preview WCM content in the URLs entered here. This option is used to preview content in a Portlet located on a different WebSphere Portal server than the instance of WebSphere Portal that WCM is installed with. Enter the URL of each Portal Page you would like a User to preview content in. The listed Portal Pages must contain a Remote Rendering Portlet.
