EJB container failover

 

Many J2EE applications rely on EJBs to provide business logic. EJB clients can be servlets, JSPs, J2EE client, Java applications, or even other EJBs. The approach for EJB failover in WebSphere 5 is to have server redundancy and smart routing techniques, subject to the constraints of resource availability, data integrity, transaction affinity and process affinity.
