Name space bindings

Administrators can add name bindings to the name space through configuration files and the console. Name servers add these configured bindings to the name space view by reading the configuration data for the bindings. Configured bindings are an alternative to creating the bindings within a program.

Configured bindings are created each time a server starts, even when the binding is created in a transient partition of the name space.

There are four different kinds of bindings that you can configure:

• EJBs
• CORBA object
• Indirect Lookup
• String
