Configuring bindings for the SSL transport policy

To use the SSL transport policy with your Web service clients, first configure bindings for the policy.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) transport adds security to the HTTP protocol with your Web services applications. To configure a binding for the SSL transport policy:

  1. In the Client Side Policy Set Attachment wizard, select the WSsslTransport policy type in the

    Bindings Configuration table; then click

    Configure.

  2. Under

    Outbound service requests, specify the settings and property file that will be used for outbound service requests.

  3. Under

    Outbound asynchronous service responses, specify the settings and property file that will be used for outbound asynchronous service responses.

  4. Under

    Inbound service responses, specify the settings and property file that will be used for inbound service responses.

  5. Click OK.
