WAS maintenance releases

You can apply maintenance releases (also known as fix pack) for the WebSphere® Application Server integrated with the development workbench, IBM® Rational® Software Delivery Platform.

The fix packs for the WAS are located under the Download section at the following Web site: http://www.ibm.com/software/webservers/appserv/was/support/.

Follow the installation instructions by reviewing the Readme of the WAS fix pack.

When you are prompt for the directory path to apply the fix pack, you need to specify a directory where the fix pack is going to install on top of the IBM WAS integrated in the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform by typing:

x:\runtimes\server_name

where x is the directory path where the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform is installed and server_name is the server you are using:

• base_v6 for WAS v6.0.x

• base_v61 for WAS v6.1

• base_v7 for WAS v7.0

An example directory path to install the fix pack on top of the IBM WAS integrated in the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform is:

C:\Program Files\IBM\SDP75\runtimes\base_v61
