Changes in the J2EE Migration Wizard in
v7.5
Changes have been made to the J2EE Migration Wizard in
v7.5 that are common to the migration of all J2EE specification levels.
Project structure migration option is removed (
v6.0.x to
v7.5 difference)
The check box
Migrate project structure in the Java™ EE Migration Wizard in
v6.0.x is removed in
v7.5. This feature in earlier versions of the wizard allowed you to choose to migrate the folder structure of J2EE projects created in earlier versions of the product to the required project structure for that version of the product. The option to Migrate project structure is no longer needed because in
v7.5 the folder structure for J2EE projects is flexible; you can have multiple source folders and give them any name. Regardless of what folder structure you use in your J2EE projects, when you deploy your projects the product creates the correct deployment artifacts in the correct format.
