Showing and excluding pages from the navigation or site map
When the Show in Navigation option is selected for a page icon, that page can be included in the navigation of other pages. When the Show in Site Map option is selected for a page icon, that page can be included in the site map of other pages.
By default all pages are shown in the navigation and in the site map.
- Exclude a page from the navigation
To exclude a page link from the navigation bar, right-click a page icon and clear
Navigation | Show in Navigation > from the pop-up menu. The selected page will now be excluded from the navigation bar. If you exclude a page, the Show in Navigation icon in the page icon is disabled. The link in the navigation bar is removed from other pages in the site.
- Include a page in the navigation
To include a page link in the navigation bar, select a page and select Navigation > Show in Navigation from the pop-up menu. The selected page is added to the navigation link destination candidates, and the Show in Navigation icon is visible on the page icon. By default all pages are shown in the navigation. When the Show in Navigation option is selected for a page, that page can be included in the navigation of other pages. When the option is enabled, the page icon will include the Show in Navigation icon .
- Exclude a page from the site map
To exclude a site map link destination, right-click the page and select Site Map > Show in Site Map. Ensure that the page is excluded from the site map.
- Include a page in the site map
To include a site map link destination, right-click the page and select Site Map > Show in Site Map. Ensure that the page is included in the site map. When the option is enabled, the page icon will include the Show in Site Map icon .
