Associating a Web page with a page icon

Web Site Navigation is a tool provided for designing and creating a Web site. Once you have established a visual map of file relationships, using Web Site Navigation, associate the visual elements, known as page icons, with actual Web pages.

To associate a Web page with an existing Web page icon in Web Site Navigation:

  1. To open Web Site Navigation, expand your Web project in the Project Explorer view and double-click

    Web Site Navigation.

  2. In the Navigation page, right-click the page icon that you want to associate with a file and select

    Properties.

  3. In the File field of the Properties view, click the Browse icon and select

    Attach an existing file. The Select a File window opens.

  4. Select the page that you want to associate with the page icon and click OK.
