Removing portlets

To remove portlets, concrete portlet applications, or concrete portlets, select the appropriate object in the portlet deployment descriptor editor, and click

Remove.

Note the following limitations:

1. Portlet applications cannot be removed.

2. If you remove a concrete portlet application, all of the concrete portlets in the concrete portlet application will be removed. A portlet being used by a concrete portlet cannot be removed.

3. Servlets are not removed even if you remove the corresponding portlets from your portlet application. If you need to remove a servlet, use the Web deployment descriptor editor.
