Enabling client-side support for a portlet project

Client-side support is enabled automatically when you create a new portlet project. To see if client-side support is still enabled, you can look at the Advanced Settings page of the New Portlet Project wizard.

To create a project and view the status of this checkbox, complete the following steps:

1. Click File > New > Project > Portlet Project. The New Portlet Project wizard opens.

2. Select a portlet type of either Basic or Faces.

3. Specify any other settings that you want, and then click Next, till you reach the Advanced Settings page.

4. View the status of the Add Client Side Model check and change the status if needed.

   Note: If you disable client side support for a project, you cannot re-enable it in the current project.
