Adding Web servers to the

Servers view

You can add a Web server to the

Servers view if the Web server is supported for the

Servers view, the Web server is on a system that you can access from the workbench, and you want to deploy Web services to that Web server.

Procedure:

To add a Web server to the

Servers view

1. In the menu bar, select

   File | New | Other.

2. Expand the

   Server folder and then select

   Server.

3. Click Next to open the

   New Server wizard.

4. In the

   Server's host name field, specify the fully qualified DNS name or IP address of the host machine that where the server is running.

5. In the

   Select the server type list, select the type of server where you want to test or deploy Web services.

6. Specify values on the remaining pages of the wizard.

7. Click Finish.

After you add one or more Web servers to the

Servers view, be sure to stop the Web servers before you close the workbench. Right-click each server and select

Stop.
