Configure the Oracle database manually for IBM MobileFirst™ Platform Application Center

You configure the Oracle database manually by creating the database, creating the database tables, and then configuring the relevant application server to use this database setup.

Procedure

1. Create the database. This step is described in Create the Oracle database for Application Center.
2. Create the tables in the database. This step is described in Set up your Oracle database manually for Application Center.
3. Perform the application server-specific setup as the following list shows.

• Set up your Oracle database manually for Application Center
  We can set up your Oracle database for Application Center manually.
• Configure Liberty profile for Oracle manually for Application Center
  We can set up and configure your Oracle database manually for Application Center with WebSphere® Application Server Liberty profile by adding the JAR file of the Oracle JDBC driver.
• Configure WebSphere Application Server for Oracle manually for Application Center
  If we want to manually set up and configure your Oracle database for Application Center with WebSphere Application Server, use the following procedure.
