Getting started with push notifications
Learn how to get started to add push notification support to our IBM MobileFirst™ Platform Foundation app.
Before you begin
- Set up your development environment. For more information, see Set up the development environment.
- Create an application. For more information, see Develop the client side of a MobileFirst application.
To get started with push notification, go to the Development Center website and review the tutorials about push notification. However, if you need to learn how to migrate an existing IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation to V8.0.0, read about the concept changes in Migrating to push notifications from event source-based notifications and follow the instructions in Migration scenarios.
Procedure
- Go to the Notifications tutorial page on the Development Center website.
- Review the tutorials for our preferred development platform.
