Federal standards support in IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation
IBM MobileFirstâ„¢ Platform Foundation supports Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC), and United States Government Configuration Baseline (USGCB) specifications. IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation also supports the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2, which is a security standard used to accredit cryptographic modules.

Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) are standards and guidelines that are issued by the United States National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for federal government computer systems. FIPS Publication 140-2 is a security standard used to accredit cryptographic modules. IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation provides FIPS 140-2 support for Android, iOS, and Cordova apps.
