BIRT in Eclipse

When BIRT is installed in Eclipse, it displays reports through the Eclipse interface.

We can install Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT) as either a stand-alone instance of Eclipse, or as a plug-in added to your existing IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation Eclipse instance, or any other instance of Eclipse. Each of these choices has potential advantages, depending on the needs.

Install a stand-alone Eclipse instance means having a dedicated tool for creating reports. This option involves downloading an Eclipse installer that comes with BIRT included.

Install BIRT as a plug-in to the existing Eclipse instance running MPF provide you with a more integrated interface, for both IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation and reports. Use the following links to select the option to install.
