Command-line installation with XML response files (silent installation)

With IBM Installation Manager, we can complete a command-line installation of MobileFirst Server with XML response files, on multiple computers, or on computers where a GUI interface (VNC, RDP, remote X11, ssh -X), is not available. We can also use console mode imcl -c.

We can use IBM Installation Manager to record preferences and installation actions for the response file in user interface mode. Parameters are created in the response file by the IBM Installation Manager wizard. Alternatively, we can manually create a response file.
