Configure cryptographic hardware on IBM i

Use this procedure to configure the Cryptographic Coprocessor on IBM i


Before starting

Ensure your user profile has *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities to enable you to configure the coprocessor hardware.


Procedure

  1. Go to either http://machine.domain:2001 or https://machine.domain:2010, where machine is the name of our computer. A dialog box is displayed, requesting a user name and a password.
  2. Type a valid IBM i user profile and password.
  3. Go to Cryptography and follow the appropriate links for further information.
