Renaming an administered object

When you have created an administered object (connection factories and destinations), you can subsequently rename it in IBM MQ Explorer.

About this task

To rename an administered object, complete the following steps.

Procedure

1. In the Content view, right-click the object that we want to rename, then click Rename The Rename Object dialog opens.
2. Type a new name for the object, then click OK.

Results

The renamed object is displayed in the Content view.
