Copy an existing set
Copy an existing set to create a new queue manager set with the same configuration.
Before starting
Before you start:
- Enable set visibility as described in: Display queue manager sets.
- Define a set to be copied, as described in: Defining automatic sets or: Defining manual sets .
About this task
To copy an existing set:
Procedure
- In the Navigator view, right-click the Queue Managers folder, then click Sets > Manage Sets.... The Manage Sets window is opened.
- Select the set we want to copy
- Click Copy As... to open the Copy Set dialog.
- Type a name for the set in the New Set Name field. The new set name must be unique.
- Click OK to copy the set and close the dialog.
Results
We have successfully copied a set, the Navigator view is updated with the new set (This might take a few seconds if there are many queue managers in the set). Parent topic: Create and configure a queue manager set
