This section provides information to help you to detect and deal with problems when using IBM® Message Service Client for .NET.

This section provides information to help you with problem determination for XMS applications, and describes how to configure First Failure Data Capture (FFDC) and trace for .NET applications.

Trace configuration for .NET applications
For XMS .NET applications, we can configure trace from an application configuration file as well as from the XMS environment variables. We can select the components to trace. Trace is normally used under the guidance of IBM Support.
FFDC configuration for .NET applications
For the .NET implementation of XMS, one FFDC file is produced for each FFDC.
