Removing a user from a group on AIX

Remove a user from a group by using SMITTY.

Procedure

1. From SMITTY, select Security and Users and press Enter.
2. Select Groups and press Enter.
3. Select Change / Show Characteristics of Groups and press Enter.
4. Enter the name of the group to show a list of the members of the group.
5. Delete the names of the users to remove from the group.
6. Press Enter to remove the names from the group.

Results
