Add a user to a group on AIX

Add a user to a group by using SMITTY.

Procedure

1. From SMITTY, select Security and Users and press Enter.
2. Select Groups and press Enter.
3. Select Change / Show Characteristics of Groups and press Enter.
4. Enter the name of the group to show a list of the members of the group.
5. Add the names of the users to add to the group, separated by commas.
6. Press Enter to add the names to the group.
