Install WebSphere Liberty operator on public clouds

We can install WebSphere Liberty operator on any public cloud that has a supported version of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), or that has a supported version of Kubernetes for a non-OCP Kubernetes cluster.

To deploy and manage containerized Liberty applications on Red Hat OpenShift clusters created on infrastructure managed by IBM Cloud Satellite, see the Use WebSphere Liberty operator (WLO) with IBM Cloud Satellite blog post.

  1. Log in to the public cloud.

  2. Set up either a Red Hat OpenShift cluster that meets the OpenShift Container Platform requirements, or a Kubernetes cluster that meets the Kubernetes requirements.

  3. Install WebSphere Liberty operator.
