Moving community widgets
After adding widgets to a community, you can move them around to find a layout that suits the needs of the community.
Before starting
You must be a community owner to move a community widget. You can move any type of widget in a community, except for the Members widget. This widget is automatically added to every community when it is created, and its position in the user interface cannot be changed.
About this task
You can customize the layout of the Overview page to suit the needs of your community. For example, if you want to highlight and encourage the use of the community wiki, you might want to move the Wiki widget to the top of the page.Note: You cannot move the content inside a widget, only the widget itself.
Procedure
To move a widget, perform the following steps.
- Click the widget title bar and drag the widget to a new location on the page.
- Release the mouse to dock the widget in the location that you want.
