Administer Forums
Use the wsadmin client to administer Forums by specifying properties in a configuration file or running administrative commands.You edit the forum-config.xml file to control how and when various Forums operations take place. You use the administrative commands to perform tasks that manipulate Forums content. Changes to the configuration file require node synchronization and a restart of the Forums server before they take effect. Changes made using administrative commands take effect immediately.
Running Forums administrative commands
Jython scripts are used to administer the Forums application. These scripts allow the administrator to view Forums data and perform administrative tasks for Forums.Change Forums configuration property values

You can manage space on the Forums server by limiting the number of attachments that users can upload to a forum post. You can also edit configuration property settings in the forum-config.xml file to prevent your users from uploading file attachments.View and collect Forums metrics
Use the ForumsMetricsService commands and Server Metrics page to monitor product usage, and to make configuration adjustments when necessary.
