What can I do with tags?

Tags are keywords that you assign to wikis and pages that make them easier to find later. You can find wikis and pages by clicking tags that have been assigned to them.

You must be an owner or have Manager access to add or remove tags in a wiki. You must have at least Editor access to add or remove tags in a page. Do any of the following:

To add tags to a wiki

  1. Open the wiki.

  2. Expand the Site Tools section on the left.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click Add tags (if none have been added yet) or Add or remove tags (if some have been added).

  5. Type tags separated by a space.

Add tags or Add or remove tags are also available in lists of wikis when you click More to the right of the wiki.

To remove tags from a wiki

  1. Open the wiki.

  2. Expand the Site Tools section on the left.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Click Add or remove tags.

  5. Click the x next to tags to remove them.

To add tags to a page

  1. Open the page.

  2. Click Add tags (if none have been added yet) or Add or remove tags (if some have been added).

  3. Type tags separated by a space.

To remove tags from a page

  1. Open the page.

  2. Click Add or remove tags.

  3. Click the x next to tags to remove them.

To find wikis using a tag

  1. Click the Public Wikis tab.

  2. Expand the Public Tags section on the left.

  3. Type the tag into the field and click the wiki title when it displays, or click the tag in the list.

To find pages using a tag

  1. Open a wiki.

  2. Expand the Public Tags section on the left.

  3. Type the tag into the field and click the page title when it displays, or click the tag in the list.
