Create a feed from a community

Create a feed from a community for use with a feed reader for another Web site.

You might want to create a feed from one of your communities for use with a feed reader for another Web site. For example, if you are hosting a discussion forum, you might want to include a dynamic list of the community members to keep track of who is joining and leaving.

You can create a feed from a community's Discussion Forum page, Feeds page, or Bookmarks page.

To create a feed from a community...

1. Open the page to which you want to subscribe. For example, to subscribe to a community's discussion forum, select Discussion Forum from the navigation sidebar.

2. Click the Feed for link next to the feed icon at the bottom of the page.

3. Do one of the following:

   • In Microsoft Internet Explorer:

     1. Click Subscribe to this feed.

     2. Type a name for the feed, select a folder in which to save the feed, and click Subscribe.

   • In Mozilla Firefox:

     1. Select a feed reader and click Subscribe Now.

     2. Type a name for the feed, select a folder in which to save the feed, and click Add.
