Authorizing users and portlets

Set access so that users can access the IBM Lotus Connections portlets.

Follow these steps for each of the Lotus Connections portlets to make them available to your users.

1. Navigate to Administration > Access > Resource Permission > Pages > Content Root. Navigate to the first page that contains a Lotus Connections Portlet.

2. Click the Assign Access button for the entry.

3. Check Allow Propagation and Allow Inheritance, for each of the roles listed.

4. Click on Apply and then Done.

5. Repeat Steps 1-4 for each page that contains a Lotus Connections Portlet.

6. Navigate to Administration > Access > User and Group Permissions > User Groups > All Authenticated Portal Users > Portlet Applications.

7. Search by Title Contains for the string

   snor.pf

   and find the links for the installed Lotus Connections Portlets.

8. Click the Assign Access button for the snor.pf.portlets Portlet Application entry from the search result.

9. Check Explicitly Assign Privileged User .

10. Click OK.
