Install fixes
Use the update wizard in interactive or silent mode to install fixes. Updates can include the following types of fixes:
- Interim fix
- An interim fix is a noncumulative fix that fixes a single issue
- Fix pack
- A fix pack is a cumulative fix that contains multiple interim fixes and other identified updates
There are two modes in which you can run the wizard:
- Interactive mode
- Confirm each step of the process. This mode is useful when you use the wizard for the first time or if you are updating a single installation
- Silent mode
- Use a series of commands and parameters to launch and run the wizard. Silent mode is useful when you are updating multiple installations of Lotus Connections
Install fixes on network deployments
Perform the update procedure on the first node in a cluster and then synchronize the nodes.
- Set the WAS_HOME environment variable
Set an environment variable that points to the WebSphere Application Server installation- Install fix packs
Install fix packs using the update wizard in interactive or silent mode.- Install interim fixes
