Error occurs when installing the data collector on iSeries systems
The problem: When you install the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics data collector for WebSphere Applications on the iSeries systems, the following error message is displayed in the installation console:
Exception on getTopology : java.lang.Exception: getTopology error[getTopology error]The solution: Run wsadmin.sh script in the AppServer_home/profiles/profile_name/bin directory manually in the Qshell on the iSeries systems, respond “yes” to the prompt that is displayed and then install the data collector again. If this solution still cannot solve this problem, please contact the IBM Support Assistant.
