CYNCR8378E: The test connection to the Managing Server failed. The system was unable to contact the Managing Server.
Explanation
One of the following issues has occurred:
- The uninstallation program cannot unregister the agent from the Managing Server. The following issues are possible causes for this failure:
- Information is incorrect in the endpoint properties.
- The Managing Server is down.
- The Managing Server cannot be contacted.
- The Managing Server was uninstalled.
- The uninstallation completes but the agent does not unregister from the Managing Server.
Operator response
Take one of the following actions:
- If the Managing Server was uninstalled, no action is needed.
- If Managing Server is still in use, archive the agent that failed to unregister so that it does not display in the user interface. To archive the agent take the following action On the console, select System Administration->Work With Agents, select the agent that was uninstalled, and select Archive from the pull down menu.
