Explanation
You entered root in the User field. The Managing Server cannot run as the root user. Installing the server under root creates a security risk.
Operator response
Take one of the following actions:
- Enter the name of an existing user on this computer, other than root, under which the product component (Managing Server) can run. The user name must not contain spaces.
- Create a new user for the product component. Add the new user to an existing group or create both a new user and a new group. The user and group names must not contain spaces.
Notes:
- You do not need to exit the installation program to create a user or group. When you are finished, enter the new user name in the User field.
- To work with users and groups, you can use admintool on Solaris, smit on AIX, linuxconf on Linux, or any text editor such as VI.
