BWMCR8356E: Updated management agents exist. All management agents must roll back to Version 5.2 before the management server fix pack can roll back to the Version 5.2 level.


Explanation

The fix pack uninstallation prerequisites failed because an updated management agent was detected in the database. All management agents must roll back to Version 5.2 before you can roll the management server fix pack back to the Version 5.2 level.


Operator response

To resolve this error, the user performing the installation or uninstallation must roll back all management agents to the 5.2 level before uninstalling the fix pack from the management server. To determine if an updated management agent exists, perform one of the following procedures. From the GUI, go to System Administration->Work with Agent Updates->Show Agents with Updates Installed to determine if any updated management agents display. Or, check for a listing of updated management agents in the version1 column in the ep table in the database. If updated management agents display in either the GUI or ep database, roll back the management agents by performing the following steps: Go to System Administration->Work with Agent Updates->Show Agents with Updates Installed, select the management agent to roll back, click the drop-down menu, and choose Uninstall Update. When all management agents are rolled back, uninstall the fix pack on the management server.
