BWMCR8352E: The management server configuration did not complete successfully during the fix pack installation.


Explanation

This error can occur if another process locks required files. For example, if WAS does not shutdown correctly during fix pack installation, required files might remain locked. This error can also occur if the installation program encounters a problem while trying to update the database tables in the database.


Operator response

To resolve this error, the user performing the installation can review the installation and management server log files for more information about the failure. Access these log files in the common logging directory. The installation log file is named trace-install.log. The management server log file is named trace-ms.log. After correcting the issue, run the installation again.
