IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for Application Diagnostics, Version 7.1.0.1
CYNP0062W: The Archive Agent buffer was exceeded.
Explanation
The Publish Server sends data to the archive agent using a queue, and if the maximum queue limit is exceeded, this message is issued.
Operator response
Try to increase the queue size. Check the trace logs to determine the cause of this.
Action
Increase the following settings in the ps1.properties and ps2.properties files:
- # Size of the Queue used to send data records from PS to AA
- #cyanea.ps.aa.maxQueueLength=50
- cyanea.ps.aa.maxQueueLength=5000
Change the default value of 50 for this queue to 5000. You may have to increase the following setting when you increase the heap size to prevent out of memory condition:
Set HEAP_MAX_SIZE_PS=1024 in <MS>/bin/setenv.sh
If dropped records are also in the archive agent logs, also change the following property for archive agent in the aa1.properties and aa2.properties files:
- #queues.method.size=5120
- queues.method.size=20000
Also increase archive agent heap size:
Set HEAP_MAX_SIZE_ARCHIVE_AGENT=1024 in <MS>/bin/setenv.sh.
