Configure BMC Patrol
The Managing Server's Patrol EM integration feature provides a customized filter for Patrol EM and the Managing Server's SNMP Adapter to have alerts from ITCAM for Application Diagnostics shown in the Patrol EM Active Alert Display.
The Managing Server's Patrol EM integration feature is available at MS_/path/to/install/base/external/bmc_snmp_adapter.tar. The Managing Server's Patrol EM integration feature consists of the following files:
- amfilter.tar
- AMTrapReceiver.jar
- am.conf
- amSnmpAdapter.sh (UNIX and Linux)
- amSnmpAdapter.bat (Windows)
Once these files have been extracted, copy the files to locations accessible by the Patrol EM server and the Managing Server's SNMP Adapter host.
- Configure the Patrol EM server
- Generating the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics filter engine
- Define the ITCAM for Application Diagnostics filter path
- Install the Managing Server's SNMP Adapter
