Set Passport Advantage preferences
Set the IBM Passport Advantage preference to connect to Passport Advantage.
Procedure
To set Passport Advantage preferences:
- Click File > Preferences > Passport Advantage.
- Select the Connect to Passport Advantage check box to connect to the Passport Advantage repository. The Password Required window opens.
- Enter a user name and password for Passport Advantage.
- Optional: Select Save password to save the user name and password credentials.
If you do not save the user name and password credentials, you are prompted for these credentials each time you access Passport Advantage.
- Click OK to close the Password Required window.
- Click OK to close the Preferences window.
What to do next
To delete saved user name and password credentials when they are no longer needed:
- Click File > Preferences > Passport Advantage.
- Click Clear Credentials.
- Click OK in the Confirm Clear Credentials window.
