Getting fixes
A product fix might be available to resolve your problem. We must determine what fixes and other updates are available and install them appropriately.
Periodically, IBM might provide updates, such as interim fixes, fix packs, and refresh packs. For best results, install the latest updates when they become available.
Procedure
To access product fixes:
If wer product includes IBM Installation Manager:
- Start Installation Manager.
- Click Update. Installation Manager searches the service repositories where fixes are located, and lists the updates and fix packs that are available for installation.
- If an update exists, complete the wizard.
If we do not have the Installation Manager, search for and download fixes from the IBM Rational Support Portal website:
- Open the IBM Rational Support Portal.
- Select a product.
- In the Downloads section, click Downloads.
- Select a Product, Version, and Operating system.
- Click Continue.
- From the fix list, select an update and install it.
